WITH Circle labels, a ballpoint pen, a printer, and a scanner, we blended analog and digital methods to create an IDENTITY for a yard sale organized by Designer, Daniel Cardoza.

To accompany the animated poster, we composed a playful bedroom-pop audio track and art directed a shoot of products to generate excitement on social media.

Aidan Rayner is a scrap artist that seeks to incite a shift in mentality towards consumerism, misuse of resources, and a return to the natural world.

Reusing what is already within reach, his works are inspired by the dichotomy of artificial materials and natural subject matter as commentary on the wastefulness of our society and it's impact on our environment. We developed a flexible identity to represent his malleable creativity, imaginative process, and intentional choice of medium.

The Second Shop

See full project ↗

The Second Shop is a beloved purveyor of vintage, secondhand, and local handcrafted goods in Houston. They transitioned from its East End brick-and-mortar to online sales while maintaining a presence in the Asch Building in Houston Heights.

We crafted a warm, modular brand identity with a purposefully DIY aesthetic, reflecting their roots in community, creativity, and self-expression. Beyond creating the identity, our work encompassed the design and fabrication of fixtures, racks, packaging, and art direction, embracing an approachable and handmade feel that resonated with their ethos. This cohesive approach ensured The Second Shop’s identity remained authentic and vibrant across physical and digital spaces.

Layers upon layers in a space inspired by the work of Luis Barragán. With an expansive offering, Cafe Louie served up rustic and inventive pastries, better-than-your-momma-made breakfast, lunch and dinner, premium locally roasted coffee and tea, and carefully selected draft beer and wine.

We created a vibrant, enticing brand system that covered experiential, digital, print, and various environmental touchpoints. Inspired by the juxtaposition of soft dough and the modular bricks throughout the interior, we developed a custom modular wordmark and created a monospaced headline typeface dubbed, Louie Mono. Referencing the numerous layers of pastry dough–we carried the idea of layering throughout many touchpoints of the identity such as the menu, pattern, and messaging. Cafe Louie has since closed to the public but remain bakery artisans for wholesale customers and local pop-ups.
